Studio Policies: Cancellations, Refunds & Makeups

At our pottery studio, we keep class sizes small to ensure everyone receives personal attention and hands-on instruction. Because each spot is reserved specifically for you, we ask that you please review our cancellation and refund policy before registering:

Monthly Memberships & Classes
• Payments are non-refundable once the month begins.
• You may cancel your membership at any time with at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.
• Each student is allowed one makeup class per month, if space permits. Makeup classes must be scheduled in advance.
• Missed classes do not roll over or accumulate for future months.

Workshops, Drop-In Classes, & Special Events
• If you need to cancel, you may receive a full refund or studio credit if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled event.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable. However, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend.
• No-shows are non refundable.

Studio Cancellations

If the studio needs to cancel a class due to illness, emergency, or weather-related closure, you will receive either a makeup session or studio credit.

Shelf Storage Policy
• Active monthly members receive a personal storage shelf for their work.
• If you cancel, pause, or do not renew your membership, you are responsible for clearing your shelf within 7 days of your last active class.
• Any shelves left uncleared after this period may be emptied to make space for current members.
• Please keep your shelf neat, organized, and labeled at all times.

Materials, Firing & Pickup
• Clay is purchased separately and includes bisque and glaze firings (within reasonable personal use limits).
• Only studio-approved clay and glazes may be used.
• Finished pieces must be picked up within 30 days of completion, or they may be discarded or donated due to limited storage space.

Community Expectations
• Be kind, respectful, and supportive of your fellow potters.
• Clean up your wheel, tools, and workspace after every class.
• Arrive on time, ready to create, and enjoy the process!
